In preparation for the fourth edition of the Asian Para Games, a five-day event to be held in Hangzhou, Singclean Medical collaborated with the local health authorities to organize a blood donation drive. The purpose of this initiative is to ensure the smooth execution of the Asian Para Games and to mobilize people for blood donation.
Singclean Medical, in partnership with the Qiantang District Health Bureau, undertook this crucial preparatory event. To be eligible for blood donation, individuals must meet the following criteria: be aged between 18 and 55, have a minimum weight of 50 kilograms for males and 45 kilograms for females, maintain good health without underlying cardiovascular or respiratory diseases, have no recent surgical history, and be free of other medical conditions.
On October 23rd, Singclean Medical also organized a blood donation drive for its employees. After registering and completing the necessary forms, employees underwent initial health screenings to check hemoglobin levels and blood type compatibility. Once the screening was successfully completed, the individuals were allowed to proceed with the blood donation process, which typically took 3-6 minutes, yielding around 200ml to 400ml of blood per donation. During the blood donation process, medical staff provided participants with sugary drinks to help maintain their energy levels. After donating blood, individuals were instructed to apply pressure to the needle site using a cotton ball, rest for 10-15 minutes, and rehydrate as needed. Participants were also able to receive electronic blood donation certificates through payment platforms like Alipay or WeChat.
This blood donation initiative represents a heartfelt contribution to the Asian Para Games, where every drop of blood donated will support the participating athletes. Through this event, more people were educated about the significance of blood donation, and it served to foster a sense of social responsibility, contributing to the collective effort to build a more harmonious society.
